Looking for information about the Namekagon River? New exhibits at the Namekagon River Visitor Center will help you to explore this river home for lake sturgeon, bald eagles, and black bears. Learn how the river has been a central feature of 10,000 years of human history. See how the Namekagon River is a part of a larger watershed and part of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverwaya unit of the National Park System. Park Rangers staff the visitor center on weekends in May and September and daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Open hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Namekagon River Visitor Center is located on Highway 63, a half mile east of Highway 53, in Trego, Wisconsin. It features exhibits on the river's natural environment, the 18-minute film The St. Croix: A Northwoods Journey, and a bookstore. It is also a great place to plan a paddle along the river, providing visitors with maps and guides of the National Scenic Riverway.

The Elegant Dinner Train features dinner service in our climate controlled, mahogany interior dining car from 1918. The cash bar opens in the club car one hour prior to departure to get your experience off to a great start. Immediately after departure from the Depot passengers will be seated for dinner. Dinner begins with a sampling of Wisconsin Cheeses, dinner salad, soup de jour, choice of Prime Rib, Prociutto and Goulda Stuffed Chicken Breast, or North Atlantic Salmon, and finishes with a slice of Eli's famous Chicago Style Turtle Cheesecake. After dinner enjoy quiet conversation at your table or move back to the lounge car.

Looking for information about the Namekagon River? New exhibits at the Namekagon River Visitor Center will help you to explore this river home for lake sturgeon, bald eagles, and black bears. Learn how the river has been a central feature of 10,000 years of human history. See how the Namekagon River is a part of a larger watershed and part of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverwaya unit of the National Park System. Park Rangers staff the visitor center on weekends in May and September and daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Open hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Namekagon River Visitor Center is located on Highway 63, a half mile east of Highway 53, in Trego, Wisconsin. It features exhibits on the river's natural environment, the 18-minute film The St. Croix: A Northwoods Journey, and a bookstore. It is also a great place to plan a paddle along the river, providing visitors with maps and guides of the National Scenic Riverway.
